Everything’s gonna be alright. It’s gonna be okay.

These are crazy times and it’s taken a lot for me to keep level.  I write this today because I want to share something.

This song.

Headphones. Cozy blanket. Eyes closed.

I feel it in my bones.

Everything’s gonna be alright. It’s gonna be okay.

For me, it’s a straight path to the truth. I remember. I remember why I’m here. I remember I’m safe. I remember what’s important.

It’s bringing me back, over and over again.

I wanted to share this just as an example of what I do. I do lots of other things too.
But, just a thought today – what do you do? It probably doesn’t look like this.

It may look like:

Reading a passage in a book.
Driving with the windows down.
Cooking a meal your grandmother used to cook.
Walking.
Running.
Digging a hole and smelling the fresh dirt because it reminds you of your dad.
Watching a movie you’ve watched a million times.
Standing outside on a windy day and feeling the air.
Drinking something warm.
Listening to Christmas music.
Making something with your hands.
Fixing something with your hands.
Being in the woods.

It’s so damn simple but we don’t see it because we think everything should be hard.

It’s bringing yourself back over and over again.

You find your list.

It’s not out there. It’s in here.

Everything’s gonna be alright. It’s gonna be okay.
