Merry Christmas!

As a kid, my family never veered from their Christmas traditions. I was feeling bad because since I’ve had my own kids, we’ve done something different every year. Today we decided last minute to go skiing and then have a quiet night home. But I got to thinking about this. Skiing on Christmas Eve is the new tradition! Until next year, then maybe it’ll be a different thing! And the year after that, something else. And then we’ll be older and look back and be like- wow, look at all the different things we did at Christmas over the years- how cool. The only constant thing, the tradition, was that we were with each other and we had fun. Sounds pretty good to me!
