I was so inspired and moved by this Facebook post a friend shared last week.
First of all, Congdon’s doughnuts are sooo good and this reminded me of that fact.
Then, I just was in awe of the beautiful way this family presented the struggles they’ve been having opening their business in these strange and hard times. I’ve been watching my family and my husband’s family struggle with a lot of the same issues and it sure hit a nerve.
But, what has stuck with me for the last week was the love and empathy in their words – especially that last sentence, “love one another.”
And that was it. Love one another. Have empathy for one another. Let’s try to figure this out together. We can do the best we can with this, together. And then I just thought, this is the perfect illustration of how sometimes the simplest things are the hardest. We just get so caught up in what we have going on inside ourselves, that we don’t see the person across from us. They are struggling too.
Love one another. ❤️

Wow! Such words are so easy to say, yet often unstated. Love you, Pam. Thank you for sharing.
