Possibility

Some days when I sit down at the end of the day to write here, I think, What the heck am I doing? And I think, This is kind of weird, Pam. You’re telling people you don’t know lots of personal stuff. Do they really want to hear about what you do on a daily basis?

But then I tell myself, Pam, you are doing this as a practice. You are practicing noticing what you see each day. Sometimes you see trees and animals. Sometimes you see your son do something crazy. Sometimes you see what is going on deep inside of you. And each evening, you sit down at your desk with the lights turned low and you remember what you saw.

Three months of doing this every day has shown me I can commit. And this commitment to writing each day, has made even more writing happen. Three months ago I was concerned I wouldn’t have time to do this every day. Turns out there was more than enough time. I’ve even been able to carve out time each day to start a new project. And I’ve committed to that too.

I am feeling full of possibility. Thank you.

Thanks for reading today’s entry in my daily blog.  My goal here is to practice noticing. I try to write about small things and I try to keep it light. Sometimes I write about creativity or healing. And sometimes I write about my dogs or what I cooked for dinner. Writing daily here is a way for me to shine a light back on my life and help me see.
