I could not focus for the life of me today. And I’m sitting here wondering what I should do about that.
As part of my Artist’s Way exercises, I’ve been writing affirmations and prayers and encouraging words. So, I thought I just might share a bit of that.
Maybe this is the deal we’ve made.
I will take care of my body. I will listen to what it’s telling me.
I will take care of my mind. I will let it rest. I will comfort the critic within and eliminate distractions.
I will create a space. I will protect it. I will open up and listen and do the work.
You will provide.
I will depend on you and only you. I know you’ve always had a plan. And it’s time for me to receive all the good that was meant for me. I am ready now.
Thanks for reading today’s entry in my daily blog. My goal here is to practice noticing. I try to write about small things and I try to keep it light. Sometimes I write about creativity or healing. And sometimes I write about my dogs or what I cooked for dinner. Writing daily here is a way for me to shine a light back on my life and help me see.
