We woke up to a winter wonderland. It snowed through the night. It was the kind of snow that sticks to everything and makes it pretty. We didn’t sleep well though. Charlie woke us up a little after 11pm to tell us he heard a car accident outside. Someone had slid on the slippery road, knocked down our mailbox and ended up front end in the stone wall. He was just fine. Phew. (Will mail get delivered to a mailbox just sitting atop a stone wall?)

The Covid numbers are going down pretty steadily now. And we’re hearing about the state ramping up vaccine opportunities. Good news.

I was sitting at a stop light and noticed a large tanker truck delivering gas at the gas station on the corner. And then I noticed it was a woman driving. There’s something that excites me when I see women driving large trucks. (Not in that way.) One powerful lady just out there doing her thing. You love to see it.

Today marks four weeks of this journal and I haven’t missed a day. Picture me reaching over my shoulder and patting my back. Thanks for reading.
