Christian and I went on a date to the grocery store this morning. We were there at 8am. Wes asked, Can I be a third wheel? but then changed his mind at the last minute.
Feeling tired today. And yesterday too. I took a nap.
I made my first cocktail of 2021 – a hot and dirty martini. I had bought some of Manny’s martini olives at the grocery store. (If you’re local, you know Manny has been selling appliances for forever. He now sells olive oil and olives too.) And I sat down to find one of my favorite movies on TV – The Holiday. You guys. She goes to the airport but she doesn’t get on the plane! She goes to the pub instead! And Jude Law is so happy to see her. (And yes, I’ve seen this movie at least 12 times.)
More Cobra Kai. Christian, Wes and I watch it together. We tried to get Charlie to join in, but he’s too cool. At the end of each episode, when the logo comes up on the screen, at least one of us gets up from the couch and attempts some karate. Also, the 80’s music is on point. Is there a better song to get pumped up to then Back in Black by AC/DC? No, there’s not.
